My eyes are open, but I cannot see,
I cannot feel, nor smell,
I cannot hear a sound.
For there is but an emptiness,
that lingers all around.
I sit her floating, unable to move.
And I try as I might to see
I try to feel, and smell, and hear,
But I believe it is in vain.
For there is nothing but light around,
Light that drowns out the faintest sound.
So I sit here, surrounded by light.
Without any sensation at all.
And the only thought,
To fly through my mind is
That there is no hint of darkness at all.
So I sit here, and I smile.
Because I know
there is nothing to fear
Because the light
stops the all the shadows
from ever drawing near.
Flin jaunted cheerfully down the previously dreaded street, now more packed than ever, but he didn't mind. The man who was possibly his most trusted source had sent Flin great news and now only a total disaster could ruin his day. His soon to be wealthy friend had dug round in the local residencies and sent a list of apartments that were owned by any "Roxannes" and then performed background checks and threw out the people who didn't match age. This short final draft of the list only had two names on it, but one of the buildings was being used as a small school, which left only one.

Almost a month had passed since Flin had lost Her trail at the frozen wasteland of the Himalayas. Following loose ends and empty tips, backtracking into more empty leads, Flin eventually found himself following another goose chase in Paris. He hated Paris. This hate was mostly irrational, but boiled down to a few key factors, first off, it's in France, second, there is no alcohol that isn't wine, and third, the way that those annoying french guys felt so much superiority towards everyone else. So Flin walked the beautiful street lit by the streetlights, with a clear starry sky above his head. Trying desperately to refrain from pushing every

Disguised as a "Mountain Tours" group, the outpost had all of the essentials required to follow his prey into the mountains. After collecting food, clothes, and three other people, A plane set off with the objective of landing Fin and his entourage of about halfway to his destination. Flin stayed the night in a motel so that he could follow Roxy while at his best. The next day he had a taxi take him to the address the late Shamal had given him. The cab drive was only about an hour but by the time he had gotten there, the only thing he found were the traces of a family who had left in a hurry. Even though he knew the house was deserted, he looked around. He rummaged around and after a few hours all he had found were useless traces of the past residences and three secret and empty safe houses. He had also found tire tracks but he didn't follow them. He saw enough of them to tell that they were headed towards the Himal

She certainly seemed smarter than the everyday thief, but considering she stole from someone who was willing to part with enough money to hire him meant she had to be fairly competent. He gave her a slight nod and a nice big grin, glad that he had left enough of an impression to be remembered.
Using the gun as a prodding iron, Roxy led Flin out of the bathroom and sat him in one of the chairs. She grabbed her rope from a nearby bag and after 30 seconds tied Flin to the chair. She had thrown two loops over his
Flin pulled a few strings to get on the midnight flight to nepal using some close friends and about 2000 euros in bribes to his "friends." Nevertheless, he was aboard the midnight flight in first class on his way to getting his payday. He landed in Nepal after only a few hours and used a contact from his guild named Shamal to find Roxy's hotel.
The hotel was called the Hotel Shanker and it was very high class. It was very elaborate and extravagant, but it also had much better security than the previous one and so he had to use a much simpler strategy. He went to her door, room 109, an
He entered the now dust filled room and crossed it, careful not to touch anything, and opened the window. The dust, was actually a gas developed by his guild to harmlessly leave any person unconscious with no lasting side effects. Also, because the gas used bacteria to actually put people to sleep, it lost its potency after only a few moments. He removed his mask and quickly set to work. First he removed all the girls belongings from her pockets and, after only finding an ID card that identified her as Roxy, returned all the possessions. He then hid her within a mail bag and took her down the expres

ok, so i haven't been on for a while and 6seacat9 has been bugging me at school to write another chapter to my story so I got my act together and wrote one. Hopefully I can keep writing chapters, but right now I am really busy (school, job, social life, etc.) so i just dont have enough free time at the moment. so hopefully this will change, but for now, please keep reading and please be patient. Thanks!
I'm now 17 and I can do… exactly what I could do last week. nothings really different, but hey. thats not a bad thing. as those of you who read these may know, my flin stories are unravelling quite nicely. Of course I don't deserve all the credit, this and it's counterpart by my girlfriend http://6seacat9.deviantart.com/ could not have been written without the collected effort of the two of us. I am hoping that enough other people read these stories so that we can get feedback from our readers to make these stories even better. Who knows, maybe one day it can get published. but for now, please enjoy our stories and give us any feed
well its not really a book, but it's longer than a short story so i shall call it thus. Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying Flin's Story as well as the heroine counterpart, Roxy's Story by *The-Sea-Cat (https://www.deviantart.com/the-sea-cat) I am going kinda slow with the chapter because of homework and my job, but i'll keep trying my best. also heres a shout out to daughters of the dawn for being the first person to favorite my works whom I don't personally know. Thanks a bunch!
